About Nestora

What does Nestora do?
Nestora is an iPhone app for the email that runs a household. It reads your email on your iPhone, finds the appointments, deadlines and changes inside, and puts them where you’ll see them. Clear items go to your Calendar and Reminders. Anything that needs your call waits for you in a review list. Useful notes with nothing to do are filed under FYI. Newsletters and promotions are left alone.
Who is it for?
Anyone who keeps a household running from their inbox: school notes, appointment confirmations, renewal notices, a coach’s change of plan. You can connect more than one email account, yours and your partner’s for example, and see everything in one place.
Is my email private?
Yes, private to you. Nestora reads your email on your iPhone, with Apple’s AI built into the phone, and what it reads stays there. Neither is sent to Nestora’s servers or to any outside AI service. The questions under Your data cover the details.
Which iPhones does Nestora work on?
iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 or newer, running iOS 26 or later with Apple Intelligence turned on. Nestora reads your email with Apple’s on-device model, which is why it needs these. Your iPhone’s language and Siri’s language also need to match. You can check all of this in the Settings app, under General › About and under Apple Intelligence & Siri.
How do I get Nestora?
Nestora is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone. To hear when it’s available, email hello@nestora.ai.

Getting set up

How do I set up Nestora?
Sign in, connect the email account you want Nestora to read, and allow access to Calendar and Reminders when asked. Camera and Photos are asked for the first time you scan a document. It takes a few minutes. Connect only accounts you own or are allowed to use.
Why is Nestora empty?
Nestora reads email that arrives after you connect an account, and leaves what’s already in your inbox alone. Items appear as new email comes in, so give it a day or two.
Why can’t Nestora add to my Calendar or Reminders?
Nestora needs your permission. Open the Settings app, scroll to Nestora, and allow Calendars and Reminders. If you said no when Nestora first asked, this is where to change it.
Why hasn’t a new email shown up yet?
iOS decides when apps can run in the background, so Nestora may not read an email the moment it arrives. Open Nestora and tap the refresh button at the top of the screen to check now. A check can take a moment, because all the reading happens on your iPhone.

Using Nestora

Where does what Nestora finds go?
When an email is clear, like a confirmed appointment or a form with a due date, Nestora adds it straight to your Calendar or Reminders and shows it on Home. When something needs your call, such as a date or time it isn’t sure of, it waits under For your review until you tap Accept. Useful notes with nothing to do, like a change of venue, are filed under FYI.
Nestora added something I didn’t want. How do I remove it?
Open it in Nestora and tap Undo, which takes it out of Calendar or Reminders. If Undo is no longer offered, delete it in Calendar or Reminders directly. If this happens with a kind of email you’d expect Nestora to understand, tell us at support@nestora.ai.
What if Nestora missed something, or got a date wrong?
If the item is waiting for your review, you can change the date, time or place before you accept it. If it has already been added, change it in Calendar or Reminders. Either way, tell us what kind of email it was and what Nestora did, so we can fix it.
How do I stop Nestora showing a kind of email?
Tap Remove on the item. You can remove just that one, or ask Nestora to ignore that kind of email, or everything from that sender, from now on. You can change these rules later in Settings.
Why didn’t an email about something already past show up?
If the date has passed, Nestora skips it rather than adding something that’s already over.

Your data

What does Nestora receive?
Your sign-in and account details, the permission that lets Nestora read the connected account, and, unless you turn it off, usage counts with no content in them and your answers to suggestions. Never the text of your email or your documents. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what we receive.
What happens to documents I scan?
Photograph a document, pick a photo or choose a file, and Nestora reads it on your iPhone, pulls out the key dates and keeps it on your phone. When a document is about to expire, it shows up on Home and under Needs attention in Docs. The document itself is never sent to us.
How do I stop sharing usage data?
In Nestora, open Settings and turn off “Share usage data” and “Help improve Nestora”. Turning one off stops what it sends and deletes anything waiting to be sent.
How do I disconnect an email account?
In Nestora, open Settings, then Connected Apps, and tap Disconnect next to the account. You can also remove Nestora’s access from your email account’s own settings.
How do I delete my account?
In Nestora, open Settings and choose Delete account, or email privacy@nestora.ai from the address on your account and we’ll do it. Deleting the app removes Nestora’s documents and history from your iPhone, but not your account. Events and reminders Nestora added stay in Calendar and Reminders until you remove them there.
How do I make a privacy request?
Email privacy@nestora.ai from the address on your Nestora account and tell us what you’d like us to do. The Privacy Policy explains your choices.
